Advantage: of buying yoghurts with "Thomas and friends" railway engine "characters" on them:
Recognition of well-loved character will lead to enhanced appreciation of yoghurt-based dessert snack.
Disdvantage: of buying yoghurts with "Thomas and friends" railway engine "characters" on them:
Child's tendency to pick up carton and turn it sideways in order to fully examine railway engine "characters" - causing yoghurt-based dessert snack to slop on to the floor.

Absolutely nothing wrong with turning the yogurt sideways in order to fully examine it, I do it all the time :)

Other disadvantage: child refuses to throw away carton *or* lid. Both have to carefully washed and put in the cardboard box full of yoghurt cartons and lids that *might* one day be played with again.

Oh dear, now I'm for it. From being a reasonably adjusted (if ill) child last week, he now refuses to bathe because it means separation from his beloved engines! I refuse to save yoghurt pots though. Until he makes me.

Hmmm, have been sucked into the saving yoghurt pots thing in order to 'educate the future generations' (We're doing capacity next week)
Are the children going to refuse to take part if the yoghurt pots aren't Thomas ones? (Don't think we can get them around here)
Now I'm worried... am I going to have to change my planning?
